Vigi’ Wang's artistic practice includes performance , art video, painting and installation and second-hand objects. The concept of her work engages relationships between her personal experience and growing background. Recently, she focuses on the psychological state during the creative process.  Her artworks evoke a dreamlike state. Her multi-media work combines performance with video ,installation, sound and drawing as a chronological recorder of the time and space.

As an artist, she cares about how to re-recognize herself in the society. To make progress, not to be assimilated and to build a healthy character is what she cares about. She said as an artist doesn’t need repetitive work everyday, but to think and discover, need to become part of the public. She thinks that the body as a material is the most direct and most humanity way to express her dairy life and thinking from her inner feeling and transformation of the present idea. She explores such as self-redemption, self-salvation and the contrast between fantasy and reality.
